Nicholas S. Newlin
Nick has more than ten years of experience in investment banking, specializing in advising private, middle market businesses in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions transactions. His transaction experience includes acquisitions and target searches; sales and divestitures; and leveraged recapitalizations and buyouts. Over the years, Nick has advised companies in a host of industries including Aerospace & Defense, Business Services, Construction, Consumer & Retail, Industrials, and Plastics & Packaging.
Prior to joining InterOcean, Nick was a Managing Director and Co-head of Mergers and Acquisitions with the investment banking firm Crowe Capital Markets LLC. He previously served as a credit analyst for Corus Bank, a Chicago-based commercial bank.
Nick holds a B.S. degree from the University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign and an M.M. degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Nick is a member of the Board of Directors of the J.R. Short Milling Co. and is an active participant in the Chicago chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
