Frank M. Walker
Recently retired from a 40-year career in the steel industry, Frank serves as an industry resource for InterOcean and provides advice in completing value-creating M&A and capital markets transactions in the metals industry.
Frank was formerly President and Chief Executive Officer of Feralloy Corporation ("Feralloy"), a steel service center generating annual revenue over $500 million. As CEO, Frank oversaw five coil processing and distribution plants and seven joint venture facilities throughout North America and Mexico. He was involved in many corporate finance transactions, including acquisitions, corporate divestitures and joint ventures. Prior to Feralloy, Frank worked at United States Steel Corporation for over 25 years in a variety of senior level positions, including general manager, finance, business planning and sales.
He holds a B.S. degree from Missouri State University (Truman State University) and attended Stanford University's Executive Program in Finance and Credit Management. Frank is a current member of the American Iron & Steel Institute and the Metal Service Center Institute, as well as the past Chairman of MSCI’s Flat-Rolled Council and a former member of the Board of Directors of both MSCI and Oregon Steel Mills, Inc. (Rocky Mountain Steel Mills).
